By the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 338 of May 8, 2024 , Yevhen Bodianskii, Professor of the Department of Artificial Intelligence of the Kharkiv National ۶Ƶ of Radio Electronics, Doctor of Technical Sciences, was awarded the honorary title of Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine for his significant personal contribution to the development of national science, strengthening the scientific and technical potential of Ukraine under martial law, many years of conscientious work and high professionalism.

On Science Day in Ukraine, Marina Yevdokimenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor at the V.V. Popovsky Department of Information and Communication Engineering, was awarded the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine’s “Talent, Inspiration, Work” award for young scientists. It should be noted that the awarding of young scientists who are not employees of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is an exception.
In addition, the professor received a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for her many years of conscientious work, significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity.

On 20 May, an expanded meeting of ۶Ƶ Optimisation Committee was held as part of the ongoing seminar on achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals. The agenda included consideration and approval of changes to ۶Ƶ’s internal rankings in 2024.
Acting Rector Ihor Ruban noted that ۶Ƶ remains a leading Ukrainian university despite the war. In terms of the distribution of funding in 2024, ۶Ƶ moved from 9th to 8th position among Ukrainian HEIs.
