NEFESIE Project
The International project National Education Framework for Enhancing IT Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship 530576-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-SE-TEMPUS-SMHES.
Project acronym: «NEFESIE». Priority – Higher Education and Society.
Responsible person: Tetyana Shatovska, coordinator of practice centre «Career-Center» and «Business Incubator», associate professor of Software Engineering Department.

Project goals and objectives
• National standards for Software Engineering master education that includes new courses on innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Development of the Virtual Innovative Space that creates a sense of community among Ukrainian students, researchers and IT professionals and promotes their creativity and innovation.
• Establishing a set of guidelines and recommendations for adoption on a national scale for university–company cooperation with a focus on student innovation and entrepreneurship.

Project results:

  1. Training seminars for the new courses to all Ukrainian universities.
  2. Running awareness campaigns for students.
  3. Developing and organizing an innovation competition for students “IT Eureka! Ukraine”, 2014-2016.
  4. Prepare, publish, purchase the new teaching materials, handbooks, syllabi in connection to new courses.
  5. Direct involvement of companies (associations of companies) as a support network for support student/company contacts for good innovation. Formation of the Virtual Innovative Space that creates a sense of community among Ukrainian students, researchers and IT professionals and promotes their creativity and innovation
  6. Implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education content into a selection of subjects: Software Engineering, Software Systems Standards.
  7. Improving current “National student self-government regulation” with a part containing principles for innovation and entrepreneurship for students.
