On January 16, 2026, Lviv Polytechnic National ۶Ƶ hosted a working meeting with the leadership of the Institute of Printing and Media Technologies. The meeting was attended by Zhanna Deineko, Head of the Department of Media Systems and Technologies at ۶Ƶ; Lesia Stetsiv, Director of the Institute of Printing and Media Technologies; Petro Shepita, Deputy Director; and Orest Khamula, Head of the Department of Multimedia Technologies.
During a constructive dialogue, the parties discussed key vectors for advancing inter-university cooperation. Particular attention was devoted to refining and harmonizing educational programs in Specialty G20 “Publishing and Printing,” addressing current industry challenges and labor market demands. The participants also explored prospects for implementing joint educational initiatives, including double degree programs and academic mobility for faculty members and students.
Significant emphasis was placed on organizing and holding the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Printing, Multimedia, and Web Technologies,” scheduled for May 2026. The event aims to serve as a platform for discussing current research findings and practical developments in publishing, printing, information technology, software engineering, and related fields.
In addition, the meeting addressed the active involvement of students from both universities in joint research projects, case competitions, and practice-oriented initiatives conducted in collaboration with industry partners.
The meeting proceeded in a warm and productive atmosphere, reaffirming the shared commitment of both institutions to deepening partnership efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of specialist training and advancing Ukraine’s publishing and printing industry.
