ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Reaffirms Leadership in Engineering and Technology Following State Attestation Results

16.03.2026

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine continues to summarize the results of the 2025 state attestation for higher education institutions.

Based on the evaluation, higher education institutions in the Kharkiv region operating under the Ministry will receive nearly UAH 139 million to advance research in the Engineering and Technology field, representing 53.6% of total state funding allocated in this domain nationwide.

Kharkiv National ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ of Radio Electronics has traditionally reaffirmed its status by securing a spot among the country’s leading institutions. Following the attestation, ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ was awarded Category “A” (the highest tier) in the Engineering and Technology field, reflecting national recognition of the university’s scientific and technological research outcomes. Under Budget Program 2201390 (“Support for Priority Research Directions, Scientific and Technological Development, and Research Activities of Higher Education Institutions and Scientific Organizations”) for 2026, ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ will receive additional formula-based funding.

Pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 412 dated March 5, 2026, regarding the organization of funding for scientific research activities based on state attestation results, total funding allocated to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ in the Engineering and Technology domain will amount to UAH 22,828.0 thousand.

The funds will be distributed as follows:

UAH 14,758.6 thousand – to incentivize top-performing academic units that made the most significant contributions to the university’s overall results;
UAH 4,713.7 thousand – for developing research infrastructure and upgrading technical facilities;
UAH 3,355.7 thousand – for institutional development to support university-wide scientific needs.
A key feature of this year’s distribution is the direct financial incentivization of active researchers. The top-performing departments contributed substantially to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ’s high performance, and academic staff across the five highest-ranked departments will receive individual bonuses of UAH 3,650 per person.
Detailed attestation results are available on the official portal: .
We congratulate the entire ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ community — scientists, faculty, and staff — on this high recognition! We wish everyone new discoveries and continued success in strengthening the university’s scientific reputation.
