On September 29, 2026, Kharkiv National ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ of Radio Electronics hosted a meeting of the Council of Young Scientists under the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
At the beginning of the meeting, ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Rector Ihor Ruban welcomed the participants. The opening was followed by a question-and-answer session, during which young researchers had the opportunity to discuss grant opportunities, cooperation between university research and industry, and admission to postgraduate studies.
The meeting continued with the discussion of organizational matters and the Council’s upcoming activities. Participants were reminded about the opportunity to take part in the “Best Young Scientist of Kharkiv Region competition, which aims to support young researchers and promote their scientific achievements.
Following the meeting, the participants visited the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Research Center for Laser and Optoelectronic Technologies, a shared-use center for scientific equipment. During the tour, the researchers were introduced to the Center’s modern equipment and research capabilities. Among the facilities presented were a state-of-the-art femtosecond laser and a laser system for cutting and engraving wood, glass, and metals.
The visit continued at the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ History Museum, where the guests learned about the key stages in the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ’s history and development. They also had an opportunity to view a private collection of radio equipment and attend a preview of the art exhibition “Of Cossack Lineageâ€, featuring works from the Grynyov family’s Grynyov Art Collection.
Hosting the meeting at ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ provided another opportunity for professional communication among young scientists of the Kharkiv region, discussion of current research issues, and closer acquaintance with the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ’s research and cultural infrastructure.
