On November 6–9, 2025, the European Defense Tech Hackathon took place in Kyiv — a large-scale event that brought together over 200 engineers from across Europe to develop innovative defense solutions.
ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ students demonstrated that Ukrainian engineers are already creating solutions today that save lives and change the course of the war.
The event was held in an intensive format: 4 days of development, real-world challenges from the frontline, mentorship from defense company experts, and field testing of prototypes at a training facility.
ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ was represented by a team of students from the KIU (Computer Engineering and Control) Faculty, specifically from the Department of Computer Engineering (EOM) and the Department of Information Technology Security (BIT).
