Implementation of the EU Horizon Europe “INITIATE” project is well underway. Associate Professor of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Mariia Holovianko and Head of the Department of Informatics Oleh Kobylin participated in the General Assembly of consortium members to prepare the periodic report and outline tasks for the upcoming project year. The meeting was organized by the project coordinator, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture at the ۶Ƶ of Zagreb (Croatia).
In addition to reporting and planning, the working session featured a workshop on sharing research expertise among partners and analyzing opportunities for further financial support for joint research and innovation initiatives.
Associate Professor Mariia Holovianko presented ۶Ƶ’s research outcomes and institutional potential. The showcased expertise and collaboration prospects will be integrated into the planning of future research staff exchange activities.
Participants also had the opportunity to learn about the work of the Regional Center of Excellence for Robotic Technology, which operates at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture.
The event inspired new ideas and plans that our representatives look forward to implementing back home.
Work on the INITIATE project contributes directly to Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
