Educational Event for Community Women and Internally Displaced Persons

20.03.2026

As part of ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ’s educational outreach (the university’s third mission), Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Professor Oleh Avrunin, together with Associate Professors Tetiana Nosova and Karina Selivanova, hosted a meeting with local community women and internally displaced persons.

The event was aimed at popularizing medical knowledge, raising awareness about modern diagnostic technologies, and fostering a responsible attitude toward one’s health. The university opened its doors to all interested participants, promoting the concept of lifelong learning and inclusivity.

During the visit, the guests took an introductory tour of the anatomy and computer classrooms equipped with biomedical 3D technologies at the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The practical segment of the event sparked particular interest, offering participants hands-on familiarity with modern biomedical equipment used both in the educational process and in medical practice.

The event marked an important step in fulfilling the university’s social mission, combining educational outreach, social inclusion, and the promotion of modern medical technologies.

ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ continues to establish itself as an open educational and scientific hub where science becomes accessible, clear, and beneficial to everyone. We thank our guests for their interest and openness to acquiring new knowledge!
