The Design Automation Conference (DAC 63) is a premier global event — often regarded as the “Olympics” of science and technology — bringing together top international researchers and leading global companies that shape the NASDAQ index. This year, the conference and exhibition will take place in Long Beach, Southern California.
Natalia Maksymova, a second-year PhD student at the Department of Design Automation (Specialty 123 “Computer Engineering”, supervised by Prof. Volodymyr Hahanov), earned a fellowship grant as a DAC Young Fellow to participate in the 63rd Design Automation Conference, scheduled for July 26–29, 2026. Throughout the history of the DAC conference, this marks an unprecedented milestone for young scientists and researchers from Ukraine.
The conference organizing committee received a record-breaking 388 applications for the DAC 2026 Young Fellows program. As highlighted in the committee’s official notification letter, the selection panel was genuinely impressed by Natalia’s application and presentation.
As a DAC Young Fellow, Natalia Maksymova will receive a travel grant, full complimentary registration for the entire conference, the opportunity to present a poster and deliver a talk, access to a dedicated Sunday program, online hands-on workshops and lab sessions, a chance to compete for awards, and an official certificate. This achievement opens up exceptional opportunities to connect with fellow scholars, build long-lasting professional networks, and showcase ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ’s scientific school of computer engineering on the world stage.
We wish Natalia every success at the conference!
