Kharkiv National ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ of Radio Electronics organized a large-scale series of career guidance events under the “AeroÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Week” initiative, which, thanks to active engagement with schools in the Novobavarskyi district, expanded from a single thematic week into an entire month of meetings, workshops, and career discoveries for 8th–11th grade students.
As part of the initiative, several thematic days were held focusing on modern engineering and digital disciplines that shape the future of high-tech industries. Participants explored ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ’s current educational offerings and learned about engineering professions, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, aviation technologies, and multimedia solutions.
Special focus was given to 8th-grade students, as this age marks the onset of more conscious educational choices and inspires participation in the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (JAS), subject Olympiads, and initial personal projects. For 11th graders, the events provided a clearer understanding of the practical value of engineering education, professional trajectories, and career growth opportunities in advanced technologies.
The event program was structured around two core tracks. The first track was dedicated to embedded systems and aviation technologies. Students explored real-world applications of microcontrollers, single-board computers, as well as airborne and embedded solutions, gaining insight into engineering challenges and high-tech career paths. ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ’s educational programs “Avionics Embedded Systems” and “Radio-Electronic Means of Embedded Systems” were specifically presented.
The second track addressed artificial intelligence for aviation technology and media. Attendees explored AI applications in data analytics, digital design, multimedia production, and content creation across text, graphics, and video. Through a presentation of the “Publishing and Printing” degree program, students witnessed how modern AI tools are seamlessly integrated into creative and technology industries.
The AeroÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ event series demonstrated how career guidance can evolve beyond a one-off event into a complete educational roadmap, helping students bridge the gap between school subjects, technology, and future professions. This format enabled ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ to reach a wider student audience across the Novobavarskyi district while establishing a platform for meaningful dialogue with prospective applicants.
The events were organized as part of a partnership between Kharkiv National ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ of Radio Electronics and the Education Department of the Novobavarskyi District Administration of Kharkiv, supported by ActionAid Eastern Europe.
